What is LifeStraw's return and refund policy?

If you purchased from LifeStraw.com, you may return unused items within 45 days of the purchase date with proof of purchase. Please use our return portal to begin the process:

You’ll need your LifeStraw.com order number and either your shipping zip code or email address.

Please reach out to us at info@lifestraw.com if your product has been used.

We are unable to refund purchases made through 3rd party retailers.

If your product was purchased from another retailer (such as Amazon, REI, or Target), we kindly ask that you initiate your return directly through them, following their specific return policy.


Defective or Damaged Items:

If your product is defective or is damaged during shipping, it may be eligible for a warranty replacement.

Orders placed through LifeStraw.com- please submit a request through https://lifestraw.loopreturns.com/#/.

If you ordered through a third party, please send an email to info@lifestraw.com and include:

  • 1-2 photos of the faulty product
  • A description (including size and color)
  • Proof of purchase or your LifeStraw.com order number
  • Your shipping address and phone number
  • If you still have the original box it shipped in- please provide the Lot number or PO number that is listed on the packing label.

Exclusions:

  • Discounted Products: Orders with discounts may not be eligible for returns.
  • Final-Sale Items: Cannot be returned.

Fees and Additional Charges:

  • A 3% restocking fee applies to any return with a product value exceeding $350.
  • Returns within our policy window will be refunded to the original payment method once received and processed by our warehouse team.
  • If your product was purchased from another authorized retailer (i.e. Amazon), you must return it to that same retailer.

Additional Notes:

  • Original shipping charges and duty fees are non-refundable (if applicable).
  • If a returned shipment is deemed undeliverable due to an incorrect address or lack of access for delivery, the customer is responsible for re-shipping costs.
