We want your LifeStraw experience to be simple and fair. Below is a clear overview of what can be returned, what cannot, and how to request help if something arrives damaged or defective.
Returns for LifeStraw.com purchases
You may return unused items purchased on LifeStraw.com within 45 days of the purchase date, with proof of purchase.

- Your LifeStraw.com order number
- Your shipping zip code or email address

Items that cannot be returned
The following items are not eligible for return:
- LifeStraw Community products
- Sale items discounted 25% or more
- Final sale items
- Purchases made through third-party retailers (examples: Amazon, REI, Target)
If you purchased from another retailer, please return the item directly through that retailer and follow their specific return policy.
Fees and additional charges
Some returns may include a fee:
- Returns totaling $500 or larger emergency items will incur a 5% return fee
Refunds are issued to the original payment method after the return is received and processed by our warehouse team.
Defective or damaged items
If your product is defective or damaged during shipping, it may be eligible for a warranty replacement.

Additional notes
- Original shipping charges and duty fees are non-refundable (if applicable).
- If a return shipment is undeliverable due to an incorrect address or lack of access for delivery, the customer is responsible for re-shipping costs.
