Are replacement parts covered under warranty?

Yes. Your LifeStraw product is covered by a three year warranty against defects when used as directed. This warranty does not apply to products purchased used or refurbished, including Amazon Renewed or REI ReSupply.

What replacement parts can I request?

If a part fails due to a defect during normal use, we may be able to provide a replacement part. Availability varies by product and inventory, and we may not always have the specific part in stock.

What if the part I need is not available through warranty?

If we do not have the part available, we will let you know and share next best options. You can also check LifeStraw.com for replacement parts that may be available for purchase.

Do you ship warranty replacement parts internationally?

At this time, we are unable to send warranty replacement parts outside of the United States.

What information do you need to process a replacement part request?

To request a replacement part under warranty, please send the following:

1 to 2 photos of the faulty product
A description of the issue, including the product size and color
Proof of purchase or your LifeStraw.com order number
Your shipping address and phone number

How long does the replacement process take?

Once we receive the information above, we will begin processing your claim. If the part is available, we will work to send a replacement as soon as possible. Parts can take anywhere from 1 week to 3 months depending upon availability.
