How do I access my LifeStraw filter subscription?Updated 2 months ago
LifeStraw uses Recharge to power carbon filter subscriptions. You can manage everything through the customer portal, including changing delivery frequency, skipping an order, pausing, updating shipping details, and canceling your subscription.
What you can do in the customer portal
Depending on your account and subscription settings, you can typically:
View upcoming orders and delivery dates
Change how often your carbon filters ship
Skip an upcoming order
Pause your subscription for a set period
Cancel your subscription
Update your shipping address and contact details
Note: Some customers may need to activate a Shopify customer account to access subscription management.
Step 1: Access the customer portal
Go to LifeStraw.com and log into your account or go to Customer Subscription Portal
Open your Account page.
Select Manage Subscriptions or Subscriptions to enter the Recharge customer portal.
Login experience
You may be prompted to log in using a passwordless method. This typically means you will receive a short code by email or SMS, or you will receive a magic link to access your account securely.
If you do not see subscription options after logging in
Make sure you are using the same email address used to place the original subscription order. If you still cannot access it, contact us at [email protected] and we can help.
Step 2: Change your delivery frequency
If you want filters delivered more or less often:
In the customer portal, select your carbon filter subscription.
Choose Shipment frequency or Delivery schedule.
Select your new frequency from the available options.
Save your changes.
Tip: Changing frequency is the best option if you consistently have too many or not enough filters between shipments.
Step 3: Skip an upcoming order
If you do not need your next shipment yet:
In the customer portal, go to Upcoming orders.
Find the next scheduled order.
Select Skip shipment or Skip next order.
Confirm.
Skipping affects only the next order and your subscription will continue afterward.
Step 4: Pause your subscription
Pausing is useful if you will not need filters for a while.
In the customer portal, open your subscription.
Select Pause subscription.
Choose how long you want to pause. Common options are 1, 2, or 3 months.
Confirm.
After the pause ends, shipments resume automatically unless you make additional changes.
Step 5: Cancel your subscription
If you no longer want deliveries:
In the customer portal, select your subscription.
Choose Cancel subscription.
Select a reason for canceling.
Follow the prompts and confirm cancellation.
Important: Canceling stops future shipments. It does not automatically cancel or refund orders that have already been processed or shipped.
Step 6: Update shipping or account details
To update where your filters ship:
In the customer portal, go to Customer details or Shipping details.
Update your shipping address, phone number, or other contact information.
Save changes.
If you are close to your next order date, update your address as soon as possible to avoid shipping delays.
