How can I use my LifeStraw Peak Personal Water Filter Straw with other Peak products?

LifeStraw Peak Series Personal Water Filter Straw is designed to fit across Peak Series products (not included). Read further for instructions on how to connect across products.

Connecting to a reservoir - Peak Series Collapsible Squeeze Bottle (650ml & 1L) or Gravity System (3L)
1. Unscrew. Open the bottom cap of the LifeStraw Peak Series Personal Water Filter Straw by unscrewing from the body. Make sure the cap on the collapsible squeeze bottle or gravity system is also removed from the reservoir.
2. Fill. Fill your reservoir with water.
3. Connect. Attach your LifeStraw Peak Series Personal Water Filter Straw into the neck cap of the reservoir by screwing the bottom of the body into the matching threading so that the filter is positioned on the outside of the reservoir.
4. Ready to Use. Now that your LifeStraw Peak Series Personal Water Filter Straw is attached, you can drink directly from the reservoir by pulling in water.
5. Backwash. When you are finished using, blow air through the moutpiece to remove excess water inside the filter. Close the caps.

Connecting to a gravity system using a hose
1. Open. Open the bottom cap of the LifeStraw Peak Series Personal Water Filter Straw.
2. Fill. Fill the gravity bag with water.
3. Connect. Attach the gravity system hose to the bottom inlet of the LifeStraw Peak Series Personal Water Filter Straw.
4. Open top cap. Make sure the top cap of the LifeStraw Peak Series Personal Water Filter Straw is open.
5. Ready to Use. Let water flow through the hose and filter using gravity, or pull water in by using the mouthpiece on the LifeStraw personal water filter straw.
6. Backwash. When you are finished using, blow air through the moutpiece to remove excess water inside the filter. Close the caps.

Note: Air can become trapped in the hose, resulting in low flowrate. If this happens, we recommend lifting the filter above the gravity bag, disconnecting the hose from the filter, and slowly letting the hose lower down to release the excess air. When air is released, hold the hose in place to reconnect the filter for resuming use.
