I'm having trouble removing the membrane microfilter from my LifeStraw Home product. What should I do?

Sometimes a little extra pressure may be needed to "pop" out the membrane microfilter for cleaning, storing, or replacing.

When taking out the membrane microfilter, start by removing the filter housing and twisting off the bottom cap. Next, place your hand inside the filter housing to "pop" the membrane microfilter out through the bottom of the housing.
