For short term storage (1 to 6 months), follow these steps:
- Blow air through the straw and shake out all remaining water
• Do not drink expelled water, as it may be contaminated - Remove caps, mouthpiece, and silicone plug
- Wash silicone parts with soap and water and let them dry completely
- Rinse the exterior of the straw with clean water
• Do not use soap on the filter - Reassemble the mouthpiece while the unit is still wet
- Allow all parts to dry completely before final assembly and storage
- Store in a cool, clean environment
We recommend ensuring the mouthpiece is completely dry before storing your Sip Essential.
This helps prevent contamination or mold from forming over time.
