The LifeStraw Escape’s tap is not designed for use with standard garden hoses. While the threads may appear similar, they are not fully compatible. Attempting to attach a hose may damage the tap outlet, potentially affecting performance and voiding warranty coverage. Additionally, we cannot verify the safety or quality of water that passes through a hose, as it may introduce contaminants. For best results, we recommend dispensing water directly from the tap into your container.
