Can I use the filter for my CPAP?

Our LifeStraw Home pitcher is designed to reduce contaminants commonly found in tap water, including bacteria, parasites, microplastics, and some chemicals. However, it does not sterilize water and is not a substitute for boiling when sterile water is required for medical devices like CPAP machines.

For your CPAP machine, we strongly recommend continuing to use distilled water as directed by your doctor and manufacturer. If your goal is to make tap water safer for drinking, the LifeStraw pitcher is a great option. But for medical use, especially with respiratory equipment, it's best to stick with distilled or boiled water as advised.
