How do I clean my LifeStraw Go Series mouthpiece?

You should clean your bottle regularly; we recommend a weekly cleaning to keep your bottle in tip-top shape.

To clean the mouthpiece, follow these simple steps:

• Remove the filter from the bottle.

• Remove the carbon capsule from the top of the filter.

• Soak your mouthpiece in a diluted bleach solution. Use ¼ teaspoon of bleach per 2 Cups of water (5 ml of bleach to 500 ml of water).

• Using a toothbrush or pipecleaner, wash the mouthpiece along with the bottle and lid with detergent, and thoroughly rinse the membrane microfilter with water. Do not use soap to clean the filter body.
