What should I do if I'm experiencing low flow rate or clogging with LifeStraw Max?
If you experience low flow rate or clogging, follow the below procedures.
Open the lid and ensure none of the hoses are kinked
Perform backwash procedure. If water is extremely muddy, run through cycle twice.
Using instructions provided, clean pre-filter.

If you continue to experience little to no flow-rate, it may be time to replace your membrane ultrafilter set. Water will stop flowing through once the membrane ultrafilter set has reached the end of its lifecycle.
