For every LifeStraw product purchased, a school child in need receives safe water for an entire school year. Since its inception in 2014, the give back program has provided over 2 million kids with safe water for an entire year. This program is fully supported and sustained by retail purchases.

WE'RE NOT A ONE FOR ONE (and there's a reason)
The LifeStraw give back program is not a one-for-one in the traditional sense because the humanitarian product we provide (LifeStraw Community) is specifically designed for large groups, such as school settings, without compromising on quality or performance. The program is self-sustaining in that funds generated through our retail sales not only fund the delivery of LifeStraw Community purifiers, but also sustain our local teams of educators to provide consistent follow-up, comprehensive education and data collection.

Each LifeStraw Community purifier has a lifespan of 70,000-100,000 liters depending on water turbidity and local conditions. Each unit serves approximately 75 to 100 school children per day.
