You may have noticed a warning label on LifeStraw products as well as on other products purchased from other manufacturers.  The California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 (commonly referred to as Proposition 65), requires manufacturers to include warnings on packaging and websites for products that may expose Californians to chemicals that included on the state’s Proposition 65 list. The warnings are intended to help California consumers make informed decisions about their exposures to these chemicals from the products they use.
